Maryam Sadighi holds a PhD in energy economics from the EPEE laboratory at the University of Évry – Université Paris-Saclay.
She earned a master’s degree in renewable energy from the EIT InnoEnergy program, which she completed at the École Polytechnique (France) and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden).
Her doctoral thesis, completed in collaboration with ENGIE Research & Innovation and under the supervision of Maria Eugenia Sanin (University of Évry – Université Paris-Saclay), focuses on the economic analysis of clean hydrogen as an energy vector to achieve carbon neutrality in industry. This thesis is based on a cost-benefit analysis of the deployment of clean hydrogen for industrial applications, taking into account technological changes and climate policies.
