Natacha Raffin is Professor in Economcis at CEPS (centre for Economica at Paris-Saclay), ENS-Paris-Saclay (Université Paris-Saclay), France, since 2022. Her research theoretically examines the interplay between growth and environmental changes, with a focus on how environmental factors influence individual decision-making, particularly through their effects on health (e.g., life expectancy, reproductive health). She is also currently involved in research projects exploring the role of environmental awareness in shaping demographic and economic behaviors.
In addition, her research investigates the intersection of market structures, regulation, and environmental policies, focusing on how firms innovate in response to environmental regulations and how market structures influence green technology adoption.
Her work has been published in leading journals such as Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Economic Theory, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, and Environmental and Resource Economics. She also teaches and supervises students in the Master of Economics at Université Paris-Saclay, where she serves as program director.
