Alpha Ly has a doctorate in economics from Paris Dauphine-PSL University. His thesis, supervised by Anna CRETI (Paris Dauphine University) and Raja CHAKIR (Paris-Saclay University), focuses on the interactions between energy, environment and economic development. His research has been published in leading scientific journals such as Energy Economics, Energy, and Ecological Economics. Alpha has also worked for institutions such as the World Bank, the Tony Blair Institute, and the French Treasury. He has taught in French universities (Paris Dauphine University, Paris-Saclay University) and abroad (UM6P in Morocco). LY Alpha graduated from CERDI (Clermont Auvergne University) with a Masters in Development Economics.
