Maryam is a PhD student in Energy Economics at the lab EPEE of the University of Evry – University of Paris-Saclay. She obtained her master’s degree in 2020 in Renewable Energy from Ecole Polytechnique in France and KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. Maryam is doing her Ph.D. on the economic analysis of clean hydrogen as an energy vector for a carbon-neutral industrial sector, carried out in collaboration with ENGIE RI and under the supervision of Maria Eugenia SANIN (University of Evry-University of Paris-Saclay). This thesis is based on the cost-benefit analysis of deploying clean hydrogen for industrial applications in the presence of technological change and climate policies.
