Climate management practices and market valuation: The price of (in)credibility

2026
Auteurs :
Jeanne Amar, Samira Demaria, Sandra Rigot

This study explores to what extent the implementation of managerial Climate Management Practices (CMP) adopted by large publicly traded firms is associated with Corporate Financial Performance (CFP), measured by Tobin’s Q. The results show that most CMP are not significantly linked to Tobin’s Q, implying that markets largely view them as neutral with respect...

Tobias Angel, Alexandre Berthe, Valeria Costantini, Mariagrazia D’Angeli,

This study investigates the relationship between distinct types of inequality and CO2 emissions using panel data on 156 countries from 1995 to 2020. Jézabel Couppey-Soubeyran, Wojtek Kalinowski

Industrie, décarbonation, défense… l’Europe multiplie ses objectifs stratégiques et compte sur les marchés financiers pour les financer. Subsidies and rebound effect with incomplete carbon pricing: an application to biogas and livestock

2025
Auteurs :
Guy Meunier, Victor Besnier

Bioenergies from dedicated crops or wood have faced substantial criticisms due to their significant land requirements. Certain bioenergy pathways, such as biogas generated from crop residues, manure, or food waste, appear to be exempt from this criticism. However, these feedstocks are byproducts of agricultural activities that generate emissions not covered by current climate policies in...

Economic policy efficiency and recovery in an open economy

2025
Auteurs :
Jacques Mazier, Luis Reyes, Chin Yuan Chong

How the increased trade openness and correspondingly higher marginal propensity to
import explains the lower efficiency of economic policy in the context of economic openness. Using an empirical stock-flow consistent model for the French economy (SFC FR), we analyze the macroeconomic impacts of these policies through a series of macroeconomic shocks.

Le débat sur la dette publique

Dominique Plihon

Macroeconomic policy evaluation in an SFC econometric model: the case of the investment program for climate action in France

2025
Auteurs :
Chin Yuan Chong, Jacques Mazier, Luis Reyes

We study the macroeconomic impact of climate action policy that would allow France to reach its net zero objective by 2050. Contrary to the findings of a report commissioned by the French Prime Minister, our simulations show that these investments are likely to generate economic growth and reduce public debt.
